Mike Lovatt: An Evening of Sinatra with RCS Brass

Appointed in 2019, Associate Artist of Brass at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Mike Lovatt, has been inspiring students and audiences with electrifying performances. Projects to date have included performances of Stan Kenton’s Cuban Fire and Billy May’s Big Fat Brass arranged by band leader, arranger and saxophonist, Colin Skinner. Each performance includes talent from our brass, percussion and jazz departments conducted by Head of Brass, John Logan.

In the 2022-2023 season, RCS are planning a tour of An Evening of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Billy May featuring Mike Lovatt and guest vocalists.
