M G Boulter has been creating rich and evocative story songs since 2013. M G creates vignettes of suburban lives and seaside communities and is a contemporary voice in the long tradition of the singer-songwriter. Often referred to as the artist’s artist M G is a much sought after collaborator in the folk and Americana scenes, having tenures in the Simone Felice Group (US), The Duke and the King (US), Emily Portman’s Coracle Band, Blue Rose Code, The Owl Service and Jon Boden’s Remnant Kings.

Highlights include

• Opened for Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott on their 2018 tour, including the Royal Albert Hall and major city venues.
• Played main stages at Black Deer, Moseley Folk and FolkEast Festivals.
• Albums picked as Albums of the Year by the Daily Telegraph.
• Worked with BBC Folk award winning producer on albums released by Hudson Records.
• co-writer and musical director for Tales from the Thames’, a play commissioned by the Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch.
