Matt Ford and Strictly Smokin' Big Band

Michael Lamb’s Strictly Smokin’ Big Band return to Sage Gateshead after 2022’s sell-out performance – this time featuring guest vocalist Matt Ford.

Famed, in particular, for his work with the John Wilson Orchestra, Matt is widely regarded as the finest big band singer in the UK. In 2006 Matthew was voted ‘Best UK Male Big Band Vocalist’ and nominated alongside Jamie Callum in the inaugural Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Awards.
