Mambo Jambo And Alan McClure

Acoustic roots duo Mambo Jambo will take you a joyous musical journey performing their mash-up of styles, with elements of New Orleans Gumbo Stew, bluegrass banjo, French accordion waltzes, Cuban ballads, some jump-jive sax and balkan clarinet - and more besides. A real Jamboree!

A fabulous musical treat, Frankie is on sax, vocals, clarinet, flute, guitar, and Pete on guitar, vocal, banjo, ukulele, tres (traditional Cuban guitar), accordion, & between them all kinds of percussion including suitcase and spoons! Mambo Jambo are delighted to be playing a concert supported, weel-kent face at the CatStrand, Alan McClure. As well as providing support, Alan will join Mambo Jambo for a few numbers to celebrate a musical friendship that stretches back many years.
