Making Waves Workshop

Make Waves this Easter in our creative arts holiday workshops!

Explore the ocean depths with 3 days of mixed media art workshops, learning techniques for typography, collage, textile and fine art. Together we will discuss conservation, seaside memories, and Southampton's rich naval history, which will inspire us to come together with new friends and design and create an installation which will be displayed in our foyer!

Bringing our art off the page we will explore performative poetry and movement to create a short ensemble piece that will be performed to parents and carers on our last afternoon, followed by an exclusive first-look at our exhibition before audiences fill our theatre over the Easter break.

Juice and biscuits will be provided as snacks each day. Participants are required to bring their own packed-lunches, and will not be permitted to leave during the day.

Schedule: Monday 9am - 3pm Tuesday 9am - 3pm Wednesday 9am - 3pm (parents and guardians arrive for 2.30pm exhibition) For ages 7 - 11
