Make an Artist Book with Jacqui Mair

Ever had the urge to create your own small artist book?

Learn to make a simple glued structure without the need for stitching. A three dimensional book is hidden in every piece of paper…

Starting with a simple snake book from a one page format that can be used as a greeting card or a small story book, we will progress on to a concertina fold book with wrapped hard covers. You might have an idea with which to fill it or, with guidance and ideas from Jacqui, use collage and mixed media to create a unique artist book to go home with .

There will be plenty of collage papers to make book covers with, (you are also welcome want to bring your own) and a range of mixed media will be available.

This session will run 11am – 4pm with a short break for lunch. You are welcome to bring something with you or to pop out.

All levels of experience welcome and all materials provided.

CANCELLATIONS

In the unlikely event of our having to cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable. Please contact us if you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend if you cannot attend for any reason.
