RUNNING TIME: 1 HOUR WITH NO INTERVAL

Lochhead’s un-P.C. rude & rhyming cut of Moliere's French classic relocated to a Scotch living room of the 1940’s. Conman Tartuffe, with his perfect mark in Orgon, the gullible paterfamilias, is set to ruin them all. Unless the wiles of trophy-wife Elmire and the guid-hearted Dorine, the cheeky maid, can prevail? This play puts it on the table: Sex. Men and Women using it against each other… You have to laugh!

Ed Littlewood Productions in Association with Edinburgh Royal Lyceum Theatre Company and the Stephen Dunn Theatre Fund. Directed by Tony Cownie, following sell-out run at Oran Mor.

“Moliere himself might well have relished its pace, flair and earthy hilarity. A hilarious one-hour classic set in a Scotch livingroom.” (Scotsman)

“The cast give it pure laldy”. (Herald)
