Light Promenade

Light Promenade is an installation-style music concert that playfully illuminates our understanding of light through the use of sound.

Featuring choral music from Shepway Voices adult choir, orchestral sounds from Folkestone Community Players, songs from Shepway Youth Voices and Shepway Primary Singers, supported by a number of invited community performers, lantern sculptures by Strange Cargo and a range of professional soloists.

The programme is diverse includes Dvorak's Largo from the New World Symphony, Barn Courtney's Glitter and Gold, Sally Whitwell's O Wisdom. Audiences will be invited to move between pieces before sitting down for the final section of the concert.

Tickets are free, but must be reserved in advance. Donations will be taken on the day. Event lasts approximately 75 minutes. Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the show.
