Letting Things Collapse - Creating with risk and precarity

This activity is completed or marked as expired

Details

Performance artist Eli Lewis leads a discussion on ways to creatively encounter risk, uncertainty and precariousness. Drawing from their own risk-infused practice, Eli will reflect on where these themes intersect with queerness, care, failure, and hope-filled processes of rebuilding. Eli holds risk as something alive, queer and transformative within their own work. With this in mind, they will also share provocations on how creative playfulness and agency can be found within states of ‘not knowing’ and ‘not being in full control.
