The Lavenham Sinfonia welcome two giants of the early music scene to present a programme of baroque and early classical works - both familiar and less well known. Simon Standage will join the orchestra in all the works on the programme including the Violin Concerto by Thomas Linley (known as the English Mozart), and the orchestra will be directed from the harpsichord by Peter Holman.

The programme comprises: Handel - Water Music (extracts) Linley - Violin Concerto Corelli - La Folia Boyce - Symphony No. 4 Gibbs - Sonata No. 1 Handel - Concerto Grosso Op6/2 Stanley - Concerto Grosso Op2/2
