Bath Opera's award-winning small-scale summer tour comes to the Bouverie Hall, Pewsey on Friday 25th July 2025, with Verdi's much-loved and saddest opera - 'La Traviata'. Set in a grand casino somewhere in the middle east, a father coerces the beloved of his son to reject him, because their union would be unacceptable to their aristocratic family. When she lies about the reason she is leaving him, violence, tragedy and death ensue.
