The story of Michael Spieler, Timothy Lush, Kerim Öke and Thomas Sedlacek has been spinning and twisting since 2012. Since the school band they make music together in different contexts, during this time the people of Munich have worked a lot on their sound and songwriting and in 2015 the On the Run EP released under the Milky Chance label Lichtidicht Records. It was followed by the first tour of the Republic and a big festival round with stations at the SXSW 2016 in Austin / Texas, Melt! Festival and MS Dockville. The debut album Heads and Tales, released in September 2016, landed on # 14 of the iTunes Alternative Charts, the songs have been streamed to Spotify more than 7 million times...
