Come join us for the 26th year of our world ceilidhs in the hills!! It's going to be BIG... 'World': any complex whole conceived as resembling the universe 'Ceilidh': a Scottish or Irish social event with music, singing, dancing, drinking, talking, storytelling and more!' We present unparalleled acoustic roots and electronic music from our Scottish heritage and further afield, as well as arts and workshops in a beautiful mountain riverside meadow. For us location is key. We are one of the most beautiful and unique festival venues in the UK. Our festival commemorates and celebrates the history and the people that once lived in our river valley, in former times an entire village. Our festival celebrates the people that came before us and the instrinic belonging we all share with the land. We are a festival run by a family, for families, in the very broadest sense of the word. We support rural regeneration in the Uplands of Scotland, creating local business and enterprise, and attracting visitors to a still surprisingly relatively unexplored region of Scotland, our Hidden Gem.
