This year sees this popular event expand with AxleTramps, who organise the event, planning to close Fore Street for the day on the Spring Bank Holiday Monday. There will be a theme of 'motoring from a bygone era' with the town taking on the appearance of a motoring event from years gone by and period dress encouraged.
Road legal exhibits will have the opportunity to take part in two cavalcades around the town during the day. It is also intended that a public address system will be erected to keep visitors in both the Town Square and Fore Street informed about activites throughout the day. Under the new format there will be the opportunity for side stalls and trade stands, all of which will add up to create a great family day out.
