K’in Ensemble is a 15-piece Fusion collective of Classical, Pop and Jazz musicians based in Manchester, UK. Their original music is influenced by the rhythms and musical inflections of non-Western genres such as Flamenco, Afro Beat, Latin American and Middle Eastern music.
International Mother Language Day is held on the 21st of February to 'promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and to promote multilingualism'. K'in Ensemble's members are ethnically diverse, and possess many musical influences, but their shared language is music. Riccardo O'Grady is an Italian drummer and vocalist based in Manchester. He will be releasing his debut EP ‘Universal Traveler’ on the 3rd of February. After graduating from the Conservatory G. Verdi of Milan, he came to England to begin a masters in music performance at the RNCM.
