Kilberry Loop Sportive

Kilberry Loop Sportive organisers have officially fired the starting pistol heralding Tarbert’s exciting festival programme by announcing its return on Saturday 5 August 2023.

This 40-mile ride, which is organised by the Mid Argyll Triathlon and Cycle Club and registered with British Cycling, has seen upwards of 90 cyclists head to the west coast village to take part in this friendly event since it was first held in 2018.

Now in its sixth year, the sportive starts and ends at The Gather, Tarbert, and is open to cyclists of all abilities, including ebikes.

The route itself is testing but the rewards are many, with breathtaking scenery at every turn and for those riders cycling in company and making the most of this enjoyable day, photo opportunities are endless with the perfect view around every corner! And for those cyclists who want to challenge themselves, the route is exciting enough to get the adrenaline flowing.
