Despite their often-melancholic subject matter, Jumper Boy's songwriting remains bright and optimistic. This results in frantic and upbeat yet thoughtful and contemplative songs. Combined with their energetic live performances, this is sure to be a show that will showcase both musical depth and blood-pumping dancefloor fillers. Following the recording of new material with renowned Sheffield producer Alan Smyth (Arctic Monkeys, Pulp, 65dos), Jumper Boy have been given the reins to host their debut headline show at Corporation. As frequent attendees of gigs of all genres across the Steel City, Jumper Boy have chosen three of their favourite local acts to provide support for the show.
