A 'Gem' of a musician! One of the UK's finest Jazz clarinettists

Playing songs from the American songbook and music from the Benny Goodman/Artie Shaw era, this excellent quartet (Julian - clarinet/sax, Dom Ashworth - guitar, Paul Jefferies - double bass & Nick Millward - drums) have been hand picked for their individual skills and their ability to gel beautifully together. Band leader, clarinettist Julian Marc Stringle, was a child prodigy player who studied composition with Andrew Lloyd Webber - he made his TV debut with Acker Bilk when he was just 14 and has played all over the world with the likes of George Chisolm, Don Lusher, and Sir John Dankworth (who proclaimed him the best clarinettist to emerge in British jazz for decades).
