Jazz In The Church Ft. Tj Johnson

Jazz in the Church is back in Knutsford after a hugely popular and successful first concert. This time we are Presenting the sensational vocalist and pianist TJ Johnson for a night of Jazz & Blues. The night shall also feature the fabulous tenor saxophone playing of Rob Fowler, backed by the the also fabulous Tim Williams (guitar), Ed Harrison (bass) and Jack Cotterill (drums).

Always a true ambassador of the soul, TJ sings songs of love lost and gained, of life wholesome and corrupt, songs of hope and despair, songs of the night, all with the true passion and boozy swagger of only a man who has been there and knows.

TJ plays an extraordinary blend of music that transcends the boundaries of jazz, blues, soul, country and gospel and is influenced by some of the greats such as Ray Charles, Dr John, Louis Armstrong, Johnny Cash, BB King, Nina Simone, Alberta Hunter, Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Witherspoon and many more. His distinctive voice and unique personal stage manner always bring both the band and the audience together to create an intimate yet exciting atmosphere that is rarely equalled.

The concert is to be held in the beautiful and atmospheric surrounds of St John's Church .Doors will open at 19:00 with the show starting at approximately 19:30 through to finishing at approximately 21:30.
