Details

In this printmaking workshop, you will learn a fun and creative process that can easily continue at home without the need for specialist equipment. You will look at designing for printmaking, safe cutting techniques and hand printing a lino cut print. You will be guided by experienced printmaker and artist, Carine Eunson in all aspects of lino printing to create your very own original lino cut print to take home. All materials are provided.

Carine is an artist living in North East Scotland. She graduated from Gray’s School of Art in 2000 with an honour’s degree in Fine Art – Printmaking and a passion for portraiture. After creating a series of drawings of birds and animals, she signed up to do a workshop in wood engraving with Chris Daunt in 2016 and has since spent her spare time producing wood engravings and lino cut prints.

This workshop is part of FOLD’s Monthly Craft Series. In May and June, we are celebrating all forms of printmaking through a variety of activities. Don’t miss The Society of Wood Engravers 86th Annual Exhibition at the Barn from 9th May-29th June. Follow FOLD on Facebook and Instagram for more information.
