Igor is an artist who works across art forms, as a visual artist and also through dance and performance, poetry and film from Newcastle. For him, the purpose of his work is that it should have the potential to incite change, both personally and for the audience. He uses abstraction to explore dimensions beyond the figurative, which open up to and express thoughts and lived experiences. Igor works collaboratively through dance and performance with Capua Dance Theatre, guided by artistic director Martin Hylton.

He is also part of Vitamin Noir, which performed 'Brotherhood' at Alphabetti Theatre in August 2022. Which The Stage gave ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ describing it as “infectiously energetic dance piece about friendship, Blackness and belonging.”

Igor is being joined by mentor Louie Ingham and is looking forward to explore more in theatre making.
