Tonight’s concert is a celebration of the songs of two pivotal jazz giants: bandleader, pianist and composer Duke Ellington and gay lyricist, pianist, composer and close friend of Martin Luther King and Lena Horne - Billy Strayhorn.

Featuring four UK jazz superstars, led by vocalist Ian Shaw and the powerful sax of Tony Kofi, this show takes in some of the best swinging tunes and most stunning ballads ever written, from the composers of Take The ‘A’ Train , Sophisticated Lady and the seminal Lush Life .
