Richard Watkins - Horn Martin Roscoe - Piano

We are delighted to continue the tradition, started by Levon Chilingirian, of inviting two of the Tunbridge Wells International Music Competition judges to perform a chamber recital in front of an audience including students and competitors where, as Levon puts it – “they have to put their money where their mouth is”.

Horn player, Richard Watkins, was Principal Horn of the Philharmonia Orchestra for twelve years until 1996 when he relinquished his position to devote more time to his solo career.

Pianist, Martin Roscoe, has had an extraordinary career and is unarguably one of the UK’s best loved pianists. Renowned for his versatility at the keyboard Martin is equally at home in concerto, recital and chamber performances.
