Historic Carlisle walking tour

Over the course of 2000 years, Carlisle has witnessed many turbulent times, all of which have left their mark on this great Border city. Join this fascinating 2.5-hour guided walk to reveal Carlisle’s heritage from Roman times.

Wander along ancient streets, uncover the city’s hidden secrets, admire the medieval Guildhall and discover the historic significance of the Cathedral and St Cuthbert’s Church.
