Grime Orchestrated

BCO: Grime Orchestrated are a 17-strong ensemble featuring explosive up-and-coming MCs performing iconic grime instrumentals, swapping a producer’s piano roll for live strings, horns, drums & bass. Beats are recreated using synths and samples, with the orchestral arrangements amping up the drama of the beats that have come to define grime.

Frequent collaborators include pioneer producer Treble Clef, the force behind countless driving instrumentals, crew ONEFOURFIVE, & newcomer D Rose. They’ve dismantled the dichotomy between orchestral music and explosive beats, with shows at Wilderness, Camp Bestival, & London Remixed, as well as a hometown headline at the Prince of Wales (Brixton).
