Grant Park 100

A fun-filled day for all the family in the stunning location of Grant Park. This one-day event is a celebration of this beautiful green space and the Forres area. 2024 marks the 100-year anniversary of the park being gifted to the town of Forres by Sir Alexander Grant in 1924. Sir Alexander is known for his generosity, but possibly more so as the inventor of the Digestive Biscuit!

The park and Forres is steeped in history and throughout the day you will be taken on a historical journey from the 1920s to the current day and perhaps even into the future.

Join us on August 24 for have-a-go-activities, a mini-Highland Games, a cooking competition featuring the famous digestive biscuit, the AES Solar Science Tent, the Forres & District Pipe Band, food, craft, funfair and beer tent.
