Learn about the exciting Mathematics that researchers use to study and predict cardiac activity and control heart disorders. ARC-XR is a cutting-edge collection of immersive technology, housed within the ARC (Advanced Research Centre) at the University of Glasgow. We are opening the space for you to drop in and explore some incredible examples of research and applications of virtual reality (VR) tech. Take a VR tour of the heart with the School of Mathematics & Statistics. You can then examine a gigantic 10meter long cardiac myocyte cell in VR, watch it beating and add drugs to speed it up and slow it down. You can even look inside it!
