Fungi Day

Come and meet some local experts and learn all about the wonderful world of fungi. There will be some expert led forays with the 'Edinburgh & Lothians Fungus Enthusiasts' into the playing fields of Holyrood Park throughout the day to look for fungi.

This is a free drop-in event, and no need to book.

Grade: Easy. There will be some expert led forays into the playing fields of Holyrood Park throughout the day to look for fungi. Age: Suitable for all ages 5 years and upwards. What to bring: Warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear with good grips. A snack and a drink. Toilets: Toilets (including accessible toilets) are available at the Holyrood Park Education Centre (EH8 8HG). Parking: Broad Pavement Car Park. Road Closures: Holyrood Park roads are closed every Saturday and Sunday. Local roads and car parks may be subject to closures.
