Friday Lunchtime Recitals In May "Beautiful Music Performed By Talented Young Musicians"

A SERIES OF THREE LUNCHTIME RECITALS ON FRIDAY 3rd, 10th and 17th MAY GIVEN BY STUDENTS FROM ROYAL HOLLOWAY UNIVERSITY AND THORPE HOUSE SCHOOL AT ALL SAINTS CHURCH IN CHALFONT ST PETER (SL9 8QA) STARTING AT 12:15 PM AND LASTING 50 MINS

This year’s All Saints Music Festival kicks off with a series of three Friday Lunchtime Recitals on 3rd, 10th and 17th May starting at 12.15 pm. It is our pleasure to again welcome talented young musicians from Royal Holloway University who entertained us so brilliantly last May at the time of their end-of-year recitals. They will be accompanied by Tim Travers-Brown, the distinguished counter-tenor who has generously supported All Saints in recent years. And in an exciting development underlining our support for young musicians, a choir from neighbouring Thorpe House School has accepted an invitation to participate. Programme details will be announced shortly on this site. The three informal weekly performances lasting about 50 minutes will again showcase the enthusiasm and confidence of these accomplished young performers. Tickets are not required but a £5 donation on the door is suggested. Come a few minutes early to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit in the nave. By all means bring a packed lunch if wished. Everyone is welcome, young and old, so do invite your family, friends and neighbours.
