Gabriel has been a student of piano at the South West Music School for4 four years, where he is mentored by Penelope Price-Jones.
'I'm a 17 year old singer-songwriter and started playing piano when I was around 8, which I'm now at diploma level on. But I didn't start writing songs until a few years ago, when I started really getting into The Beatles, who have been a massive inspiration. Soon after that, I started learning guitar which made me realise that songwriting was something that I'm very passionate about. Over the last few years, I've been improving with every new song and I finally feel at a stage where I'm confident enough to try and get my music out there, with the help of great opportunities such as this'. Gabriel is hoping to be joined by his sister, Madeleine, who is currently studying flute at the Purcell School.
