Hailed as 'Jessie J meets Joan Jett' FRANCIS (formally known as Emma & the Idles) are an alt/indie rock band based in London, made up of front woman and singer songwriter Emma Withers, guitarists Alex Scott, Stefan Kotlarz and bassist Craig Rattray. With a balls to the wall approach to their song and sharp songwriting style, they have regularly been compared to the likes of Wolf Alice and Florence + the machine. FRANCIS are putting on this show to share the recent success of their debut EP release, this is going to be a celebration with those who love the music, ongoing supporters and new fans to come, its going to be a really great show and afterwards come and share a drink or two with the band!
