Details

We will travel by underground to Westminster and walk to Buckingham Palace where you will learn about the Guard Change and the history of Buckingham Palace and its day to day workings. From here witness the new Cavalry Guard making its way along to Horse Guards. We shall stroll along The Mall passing Clarence House and the historic St James’ Palace. We continue along to the area of St James’ highlighting some historic shops that for generations have been used by the Royal Family and make our way from St James to Trafalgar Square where the history of this famous square (the centre of London) will be explained. We finally finish back to Westminster to hear the history of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and the connections with the Royal Family. A lot of hidden secrets will be told !

Walkers to make their own way to Liverpool Street Station and meet at the Kinder Transport statue outside the main tube entrance by 9.50am to then go and meet the guide, Gary Egerton. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather and comfortable walking shoes.
