A playful and powerful reinterpretation of Goethe’s seminal work FAUST told through the lens of its female character, Gretchen.

Hot off its 4-star 2021 Camden Fringe run, FESTER is back and better than before. Halfpace Theatre has revised their "dynamic" (Ask the Ushers), "funny" (Camden Citizen), "powerful and infinitely intriguing" (North West End UK) devised piece exploring representation, power dynamics in classic narratives, and how exactly one goes about clawing their way out of the depths of hell.

Drawing inspiration from literature and physical theatre styles from around the world, the majority migrant cast and crew ask hard questions about marginalisation and narrative.

NOTE: This showing is for an R&D work-in-progress piece.
