Exploring Anatomy Through Art: Dry Point Etching

Join Surgeons Hall Museums and Artist Susie Wilson for this one-day workshop which will introduce the technique of Dry Point Etching using multiple plates in order to layer colours and textures.

Taking inspiration from the museum collection, participants will make drawings using various media. These drawings will then be developed into a series of dry point plates with time to experiment with color and to be shown different ways to ink up. Participants will leave with a series of finished prints.
