TICKETS ON SALE MONDAY 19 AUGUST 2024 The rags-to-riches story of the most famous Argentinian woman in history became one of the most successful British musicals of the late 20th century. Songs like Night of A Thousand Stars, Another Suitcase in Another Hall and of course, Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina, were massive chart hits in their own right, while the original West End production won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical in 1978, launching the career of Elaine Paige in the process. It was the first British musical to win a Tony Award on Broadway (in fact, it won seven) and was made into a film starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas in 1996. And we’re bringing it to Hampton Hill Theatre in October.
