Elizabeth Impey: Suffragette - A Hitchin History

Details

The story of Elizabeth Impey and her struggle for female emancipation in the early 20th century. A strong and persistent suffragette who refused to be put off course by the government, police or even her local community. Supported throughout by her loving husband, Arthur. Her commitment to the suffrage cause was one of determination against great odds to change the position of women in British Society. This is a fictitious story against a factual background.
