Duo Kapoor-Leung

The Duo Kapoor-Leung was formed in 2017 when two young musicians - Usha Kapoor (violinist) and Edward Leung (pianist) - met at the Krzyowa Music Festival in Poland. Both are of Asian-American background and, as is evident from their innovative programming, they are champions of American music, much which is not well known in the UK. In Aboyne, the Duo will play:

The Duo come to Aboyne thanks to their winning the Tunnell Trust Music Club Awards 2020. They also won the First Prize at the inaugural 2018 Birmingham International Piano Chamber Music Festival and Competition. They have performed throughout the United Kingdom and Europe, appearing at many festivals. They are also Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now artists for Germany and the UK.
