Dundee Dance Event

Dundee Dance Event was originally launched back in 1998 to showcase DJing talent not getting the chance to shine in local bars and clubs. The event was a first for the city and is still the largest event in the UK designed for local, up-and-coming DJs and artists from Dundee and beyond.

From humble beginnings back in 1998 with 17 DJs playing in 9 venues, to relaunching in 2011 with 10 venues and 50 DJs, in 2024 the event will take place in 30 venues with almost 200 DJs and artists performing.

DJs from every Scottish city, and many towns in between, will be represented again at this year's event - it has now truly become a country-wide affair. The event is also an opportunity for the dance music community to come together once a year to celebrate the scene we all love.

Fat Sams (Aura Nightclub) will once again host the DDE Closing party. 2023 saw a sold-out event with almost 4,000 clubbers from all over the UK seeing the event out in style.
