Django's Swing - Music on the Mezzanine

Are a Gypsy Jazz Guitar duo based in Edinburgh, playing Gypsy swing in the style first popularised by Django Reinhardt and ‘The Hot Club of France’ in Paris in the 1930’s. Gypsy swing is an exuberant form of jazz which has seen a global surge in popularity since the early 2000’s. Traditionally played with no drummer and on Acoustic instruments, “Django’s Swing” can perform in small venues in the traditional acoustic style or with added amplification for larger venues. We play mostly up-tempo swing tunes interspersed with slower swing ballads and Gypsy Bossa Novas.
