Details

Dave Bristow is a pianist and composer from Birmingham, hailed by critics and contemporaries alike as one of the most promising talents in European jazz. Following his Master’s Degree from Leeds College of Music he moved to Paris, forming a multinational supergroup taken from the cream of the Parisian jazz scene and winning praise for the flair and originality of his original compositions, featured on his celebrated debut album, ‘Unknown, Unknown’. Tonight Dave will be performing material from that record as well as showcasing new compositions with his regular, excellent Parisian band: Félix Hardouin-alto sax, Olivia Cuttill-trumpet, Gabriel Pierre-bass & Guillaume Prévost-drums.

"An open invitation to a thrilling musical experience - an sonic adventure which is often unpredictable but always exciting", Alex Dutilh, Open Jazz, Radio France; “A new English jazz sensation has emerged in Paris!...displaying fearless pianistic and compositional talent and should be on every Jazz aficionado’s radar".
