Join MED Theatre’s Wild Nights Young Company and Bright Nights Drama Group as they share new pieces of original work, written, devised and performed by the group members. This year we have two plays by our young people, as well as additional short sharings by individual members of MED Theatre groups!
Wild Nights Young Company The year is 2624 and the residents of Dartmoor are living with the outfall of ‘The Event’, “when climate scientists accidentally triggered an ultra-reversal of temperature increases and plunged the planet into an ice age”. A group of teenagers who have grown up underground in bunkers are bored of their closed-in life. But are the rumours true… is the planet thawing and is life above ground becoming possible again?
