Cousin Kula have created their own otherworldly musical universe of serene pop, with vastly distinct, but complementary elements: “the possibilities of jazz, the emphatic energy of club culture, and the sonic tapestries of psychedelia” CLASH remark. The group head to Jazz Cafe for their highly anticipated 'Vitamin D' album launch, with their debut receiving praise from CRACK, The Guardian and Gilles Peterson, as well as touring with Mildlife. The quintet of virtuosic musicians are known for their iconic live shows, having performed a Boiler Room Session and further a request from XL signees BADBADNOTGOOD to record a live adaptation of their new single. Funk & disco has permeated their psychedelic indie-soul sound and it’s all the better for it, becoming the latest band to emerge out of the buoyant Bristol music scene. This is an 18+ event .
