Cool Jazz and the Spoken Word

The Gower Festival invites you to welcome the merry month of May by coming along to another great evening with a difference at the King Arthur Hotel, Reynoldston. Dine to the sounds of cool 'dinner jazz' played by one of the finest jazz trios in Wales, and then enjoy a selection of clever words and music played by virtuoso Jazz Saxophonist Alan Barnes with readings by tv and media personality Siân Lloyd. Works of Damon Runyan, Arthur Conan Doyle and others will be included, and, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dylan Thomas’s masterpiece, an excerpt from Stan Tracey’s iconic “Under Milk Wood Jazz Suite” will feature. Take your seats from 6.30pm and select from a menu (with price list) delicious snacks or meals that will be served at your table until 8.00pm. Bar open throughout. Disabled access is simple at all tables and attracts a 25% discount on ticket sales.
