Details

To celebrate Pride at The Georgian House this June, join us for an immersive experience of 18th century Edinburgh beyond the binaries of sex and gender.

Explore the concealed connections within our house and its collection, learn about queer culture in the 18th century and the people connected to queer history who lived, worked and visited Edinburgh over two hundred years ago.

This is a free flow event where visitors move from room to room viewing objects and listening to stories about people, places and themes connected to LGBTQ+ History in Scotland during the Georgian period (1714-1837).

Please arrive between 6pm and 8pm – event concludes at 9pm.
