Classic Jazz Orchestra

A regular and popular visitor at Linlithgow Jazz pre-Covid, Ken Mathieson's Classic Jazz Orchestra (CJO) are making their long-awaited return! Featuring players skimmed from the cream of Scottish Jazz, the CJO play arrangements of great tunes by Benny Carter, Duke Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton and many others from the golden age of jazz. For our gig, CJO will be: Colin Steele (trumpet), Chris Greive (trombone), Dick Lee (clarinet/alto sax/penny whistle), Stewart Forbes (tenor sax), Martin Foster (clarinet/bass clarinet/ bari sax/bass sax), Paul Harrison (piano), Andy Mitchell (bass) and Tom Gordon (drums). This will be music to ​swell the heart and move the feet!
