Chesterfield Jazz Club presents Get Carter Reimagined with Dennis Rollins MBE

Featuring fresh arrangements of Roy Budd's film score, with spoken word and visuals, commissioned by the Ted Lewis Group and premiered at Hull Jazz Festival 2021. The show aims to take the viewer on a musical journey through the film, which has its 50th anniversary this year. Ted Lewis died prematurely at the age of 42, but this year would have seen his 80th birthday. This project has been created to celebrate this double anniversary.

The band is lead by award-winning trombonist Dennis Rollins MBE, who has won many awards and worked with high profile UK and US jazz luminaries such as Maceo Parker and Courtney Pine. www.dennisrollins.com
