Charity Choral Concert - The music of John Rutter

As he enters his 79th year, Wrekin College present a concert of choral music by John Rutter, the country's greatest choral composer of our time. The concert will feature a variety of pieces that show the diversity of Rutter's output. It will include popular favourites such as 'This is the Day', movements from his Requiem and also folk song arrangements from 'A Sprig of Thyme' and even Spirituals that he has composed. This concert will support the Wrekin Foundation. A Wrekin College based charity that provides the funding for talented youngsters to attend Wrekin College who would otherwise never have the resources to do so. Featuring the Combined Choirs of Wrekin College, The Old Hall Chapel Choir and organist Tony Pinel.
