Details

To welcome the change in seasons, this April KMA Gallery is exhibiting a new ceramics collection by British artist Craig Underhill alongside a bright array of paintings, prints, sculptures and other ceramics by our rich roster of artists.

Underhill’s experimental approach to ceramics demonstrates his diverse approach to mark making. His layered technique is akin to painting on a canvas, creating 3D paintings in the form of a vessel. This unique approach allows him to develop abstract landscapes that still mimic the rise and fall of the topography.

Also on view are a new cityscape painting by Jonathan Smith, joyous prints by Kellie Miller of often-overlooked natural details, the characterful animal sculptures of Jon Barrett-Danes, and the bright sculptural heads of Mary Jones (aka The Brick Thief), among many others.

These artworks are on view curated across two floors at Kellie Miller Arts, 20 Market Street.
