A Harvest Festival at the Crannog Centre with ancient dishes to taste.

Part of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival!

Celebrate one of the most abundant times of the year as we look to the harvest and the foods of the Iron Age. Taste a variety of ancient dishes, from smoked Loch Tay Trout, to baked honey cakes, stewed wild fruits, fresh whipped cream and new cheeses, all inspired by the archaeological finds both in our collection and across the wider UK. Bog butter on toast anyone? Vote for your favourite dish in our ‘Celtic Bake Off’, and finish off your day listening to stories and music by the shore from our local storytellers.

Tours run all day every 45 minutes from 10am - 4pm.

Our café is open 10-4 serving hot and cold drinks and snacks during your visit.

Dogs are always welcome!
