The award-winning, family run bar and restaurant, The Mercat Grill, in the village of Whitecraig, East Lothian will be celebrating the birth of Scotland’s national poet, Rabbie Burns with a traditional Burn’s Night on Saturday 28th January ’23 in association with Kilchoman Distillery, from the isle of Islay.

It will be the local bar and restaurant’s first event in 2023 and promises to be a great evening, in the whisky loving owner’s venue, which is a haven for whisky lovers all year round, with its staggering collection of 350 varieties.

Owner of the Mercat Grill, Graham Blaikie said: “We will welcome in 2023 with a real shindig for Burn’s Night! We’ll have a superb evening lined up with a full Burn’s Supper, lovingly created by our talented chef from fine, local produce and a few drams, from Islay’s traditional farm distillery Kilchoman.

“These wonderful distillers have revived the process of traditional farm distilling, standing alone as Islay’s only Single Farm Single Malt Scotch Whisky, produced at Kilchoman from barley to bottle. We hope you can make it!”
